Player Role:

Ceiling - Second Division Outfielder (45)

HIGH RISK

Cordero demonstrates premium fast twitch athleticism and explosive action in the field and at the plate with the potential to actualize some into greater baseball skills; shows work ethic enough to greater improve and an exceptional frame, will provide value in the outfield and on the basepaths. Severe limitations at the plate that go beyond the pure swing place strict limitations of the profile and diminish potential ceiling though raw footspeed will have opportunity to maximize chances when contact is made and raw power has an opportunity to manifest to an extent in game if committed to a power approach. Explosiveness and fast twitch actions alongside moderate projection provide major league potential as a high risk reserve outfield piece with second division starting ceiling if all actualizes

Power (Present 2; Future 4; Raw 5):

Inconsistent utility and ability to consistently generate loft in game at present; shows average raw in cage sparingly to pull side and rarely in game with strength through hands and wrists alongside fluidity through swing more conducive to see raw actualize to greater extent with development; deceptive strength and athleticism at plate; uses cage more for other purposes than pure raw achievement.

Stresses bat-to-ball skills to carry profile throughout development; still at young age with maturity remaining; shows presently advanced at the plate with potential for further projection; lacks adequate defensive position or bat with enough impact to be forced into lineup on a continual basis.

Javier Guerra (SS) -

Physical Description:

High waisted; moderate length through lower half, limited; shows average build, moderate definition through shoulders with trim midsection at present; compact build; wiry arms; moderate definition through thighs, some weight through hips, wider set relative to frame; build shows moderate maintenance and risk through continual maturity and development; nearly physical maturity with limited projection remaining; lacks prototypical projection or athleticism physically; build shows to be fairly sustainable without much remaining projection to foresee.

Shows deceptive strength through extremely strong wrists and hands; able to backspin balls to all fields and manifest pull side plus raw from hands and wrists with slightly greater lift; strength shows potential to play in game even with lesser contact, stiffness and inconsistencies; shows potential to actualize raw to either gap and possess pull side out of the park potential; 15-18 HR potential at the highest level when fully actualized even with limitations through bat-to-ball ability; fluid natural strength and barrel explosive to and through zone

Run (Present 5; Future 5):

More dense through lower half; lacks quick twitch explosiveness with more exerted strides on the basepaths; 4.23, 4.26, 4.21; speed can manifest laterally as well as straightline; limited length and explosive athleticism impairs potential value on basepaths and places stress on reactionary ability and precision in field to compensate with glove; potential to maintain through maturity with moderate maintenance physically; potential to diminish slightly through maturity

Glove (Present 6; Future 6):

Advanced, fluid, natural reactions and actions at premium position with ability to stick up the middle; quality first step and exceptional reads off contact; shows average lateral range at position with footspeed limitations; shows extremely advanced footwork and maturity, awareness of situation in field; demonstrates athleticism with glove and mature game speed for level; soft hands, quick transfers; could provide major league value purely defensively at present; maximizes footspeed with advanced secondary attributes, overcomes prototypical athletic and physical limitations; bodies behind balls, two hands etc.; fundamental nature and sound; some struggles with closing speed ranging left towards middle; maturity and advanced almost intrinsic actions at position, potential to stick and provide long term value at premium position

Player Role:

Floor - Defensive Bench Bat (4)

Realistic - Regular Shortstop (50)

Ceiling - First Division Shortstop (55)

HIGH RISK

Guerra's instinctual prowess at a premium position with extremely advanced reactions and quality hands show enough potential to overcome physical and athletic limitations at the position; shows explosiveness at the plate with limited athleticism and expansive approach though enough raw strength to compensate and provide value elsewhere at the plate despite limited future bat-to-ball utility; quality makeup and demeanor on and off field with potential to actualize strengths in a starting capacity at the highest level; significant development remains
